Our Team

  • Margaret Perez Brower

Welcome to SRC! I am Margaret Perez Brower, and I serve as the president of this community-based organization. I am passionate about and deeply engaged in the Renton community-- it's a special place of connection, public art, collaboration, and culture of care-- that I'm proud to play a small role in supporting.

As the president of the organization, I am dedicated to cultivating an environment of shared-learning, friendships, mutual aid, equity, social justice, and community service. It's important to me that everyone feels they belong and have a place/purpose in SRC to grow, connect, and care for Renton.

When I'm not serving as president you can catch me doing research on nonprofits and social movements, walking the Cedar River Trail, supporting art from seniors displayed at Liberty cafe, buying spicy garlic hot sauce at the Renton Farmers market, sipping on a strawberry matcha from Boon Boona, stocking up on my favorite cards at Esme & Elodie, or playing trivia at Red House.

  • Albert Peacock

Welcome to South Renton! I’m Albert Peacock and I’m happy to serve as the Vice President of SRC. I work behind the scenes to support our committees and the wonderful work that they do. This includes grant writing and coordination with the city.

Protecting our beautiful environment and ensuring that all our neighbors have their needs met through mutual aid are important values to me. This community is near and dear to my heart, and I am committed to maintaining and protecting it for our neighbors: past, present and future.

When not serving as leadership, I enjoy many hobbies including brewing, woodworking and perpetual house projects.

Hi! I'm the Treasurer for South Renton Connection. I manage our bank account, track expenses, and reimburse our team members for grant-funded projects. My wife and I bought a house in Renton five years ago and we love it here. I also work on the Budgeting and Accounting team at City Hall.
