About Civic Committee

The Civic Committee works on initiatives and projects to increase civic literacy. We are currently working on a program called “Civic Chats,” which brings people in Renton together over food at local restaurants to talk about politics and share resources to better understand civic processes and ways we can participate in them.

Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the VFW Hall Room, located at 416 Burnett Ave S. at 6:30pm. Please submit any agenda items through our General Inquiries page or to our shared email address contact@southrenton.org.
