About Social Committee

The Social Committee organizes community-building events like the annual picnic and Cookie Social. These gatherings are thoughtfully designed to foster relationships and connections among people across Renton.

SRC has organized an annual picnic for 17 years that brings together all community members in the heart of South Renton, Burnett Park, for free food, giveaways, music, activities, and opportunities for connection and friendship.
